Creative Arts

We are created. We worship our creator. It makes sense then that creativity should be important to us as Christians.

Sputnik

While we hope that creativity runs through all that we do as a church, our creative engine room is Sputnik. Sputnik is a national arts network based in the Catalyst Family of churches. We cover all forms of art and creativity - from writing to painting, film making to dance, theatre to music - and everything in between, working with artists who wish to grow in excellence and use their creative skills outside of the church to speak into our culture for Jesus.

To find out more, check out our website at sputnikmagazine.co.uk and follow us on twitter at @sputnikmagazine or like our Facebook page at Sputnikmagazine for regular updates.

I have discovered since getting involved with Sputnik that it is a community filled with talented individuals who want to use their creativity to not only bless the kingdom of God but influence the outside world's thinking of life.

Josh, illustrator

Being part of Sputnik has connected me with christian artists who are passionate about the creative gifts God has given them, we meet to spend time in worship, discussion and create art together. Sputnik has encouraged me to influence the wider culture around me through the skills God has given me, and I'm excited to see where it takes me.

Jess, poet

Being part of Sputnik has been both enjoyable and challenging. It has pushed me to write and also given me the opportunity to meet other musicians and artists.
