Acts Acts 10:1-11:18

God Moves Forward His Story
Acts Acts 9:1-31
In Acts 9, we come to a key turning point in the book of Acts. In fact, we come to a key turning point in history. In Saul’s conversion, we see the author of the story moving along the plot quite dramatically in his intended direction. Jonny explores how this event serves as a picture of what He is doing all the time as He continues to write His story.

When God's forgotten me
John 11:1-45

When doesn't act
2 Corinthians 12
Why doesn't God do something?! Why wouldn't God do this for me? This week we look at Paul's thorn in the flesh from 2 Corinthians 12 and see that God's answer to the person who wrote over half the New Testament was 'No'. Despite what we sometimes feel, there is actually no correlation between whether God acts and whether he exists. In fact sometimes God says no for our good.

When God's silent
Matthew 11
What do you do when it seems God is silent, he doesn't act and he's forgotten you? In this sermon we learn from how Jesus responded to his cousin John the Baptist and see that our personal circumstances do not necessarily correspond to how God feels about us.
